4 Simple Steps to Choosing the Perfect Pair of Jeans Without Trying Them on
It is impossible to imagine a modern wardrobe without a pair of jeans. Some of us even have a few pairs of different styles and colors.
Some of you can be a denim fan and have excellent specimens of this comfortable clothing ranging from skinny models of all colors and shades to the classic Levi’s.
Four simple steps that will help you easily find the jeans of your dreams and avoid going to the fitting room once again.
1. Define the width
Well, let’s try to find the perfect width. To do this, bend your arm at the elbow, and clench a fist. Your arm should easily fit into a zipped-up waistband. Just one step left, and we can hurry to the counter.
This trick will work only for those who wear jeans with a standard waist. Of course, if they’re high-waisted jeans, your arm shouldn’t fit into the waist completely.
2. Choose the size
To choose the right size, hold your jeans at the ends of the waist, and try to wrap them around your neck at the button level. If the ends easily touch each other, it’s your size.
Please note that the ends of the waist don’t necessarily have to meet precisely, but they should easily wrap around your neck.
3. Check the length
Let’s finally check if the jeans are long enough. Hold the edges of the legs, and put your arms to the sides as far as you can. If the middle of the jeans is right under your chin, congratulations! You’ve chosen a great pair!
The middle should be right under your chin at neck level.
4. How to check if your foot will easily fit into skinny jeans
If you want to know how easy it will be to put on skinny jeans, just clench your hand into a fist, and see if it fits.
The protruding bones of the hand should easily pass into the leg opening without stretching the edges. One simple movement, and no painful “pulling” of jeans in the future.
